RATIO is seeking talented and passionate design-focused Landscape Architects to join our design studios in Indianapolis, Indiana or Raleigh, North Carolina. RATIO is committed to employing creative, self-motivated design professionals who can utilize current technologies to achieve design excellence. You will join a dynamic and rapidly growing collaborative practice to work on projects throughout the United States and abroad. While the position is based in Indianapolis you will work on projects being managed from all our current studios (including Chicago, Champaign, Milwaukee, and/or Denver). This position will entail involvement in all phases of the design process, from marketing submittals and participation in the pursuit of projects through SD, DD, CD and CA.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and project objectives
Develop concepts and designs that meet both aesthetic and functional criteria
Prepare and manage construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
Ensure that all design and construction documentation comply with relevant building codes and regulations
Coordinate with other design professionals, consultants, and contractors to integrate various project components
Oversee the construction process to ensure that the design intent is being faithfully executed
Respond to requests for information (RFIs) and review and approve submittals
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
Requirements:
A professional degree in Landscape Architecture
A minimum 5-10 years of landscape architectural experience
Demonstrate a portfolio that has a strong design aptitude
Established experience in all phases of project delivery
The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
Nice to have:
Ability to exhibit additional skill with Revit, Enscape, and Civil 3D are preferred
