Land Survey Laborer

• Check with Crew Chief for daily scope of work
• Load any and all needed equipment (GPS equipment, batteries, radios, metrotech, total station, hard hats, steel toe boots & other PPE)
• Top off and load needed survey supplies (Lath, paint, flagging spikes, red/white flags, posts & any other necessities)
• Wipe down vinyl in truck with pledge and towel. (All vinyl)
• Wipe interior windows with Windex and paper towels
• Take out any garbage in the truck and then in the office if needed
• Be prepared to drive to and from the job site
• Set up and tear down GPS base, carry all the supplies in a lath bag, backpack or belt
• Make sure to have enough water and anything else you may need throughout the day
• Unload any equipment not needed
• Put all batteries on chargers
• Check with Crew Chief before going home
• Monday’s time is due for the previous week worked

• Friday’s should be a day to clean equipment. (Unload and wipe down GPS, wash trucks, and clean office, bathrooms and shop areas)
• Check with all Crew Chiefs to see if there is anything needing to be done

• High School Diploma / GED
• 6+ months experience as a Surveying Assistant (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift 75 lbs
• Honest, Professional, Organized, Pays Attention to detail, Dependability, Thoroughness, Documentation Skills, Inventory Control, Safety Conscious, Strong Work Ethic, Self-driven with little or no supervision
• Must have current and valid drivers license with MVR that meets Company requirements
• Must be willing and able to enroll in the Company's Drug & Alcohol compliance program
