Job Description:

This is a senior position responsible for driving the growth and success of our Land & New Homes department across East Kent. You will play a key role in securing land opportunities, managing new homes developments, and leading a team to deliver exceptional sales performance. Working closely with developers, housebuilders, internal branch teams and senior stakeholders, you will ensure the department maximises opportunities across our network and maintains strong developer relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify and secure new land and development opportunities across East Kent
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, housebuilders, and landowners
  • Oversee the marketing and sales strategy for new homes developments
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team within the Land & New Homes department
  • Work collaboratively with branch managers and sales teams to maximise opportunities from the existing network
  • Provide expert market insight and pricing advice to developers and stakeholders
  • Manage development launches and ensure sales targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Represent Miles & Barr professionally within the local development and property community
  • Work closely with senior leadership across Miles & Barr to support strategic growth in the region
  • Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline, sales performance, and future opportunities

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in Land & New Homes sales
  • Experience working with developers and housebuilders
  • Demonstrable success in winning instructions and delivering sales results
  • Management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working across multiple departments and senior business leaders
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong understanding of the East Kent property market (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
