Job Description

A renewable energy developer is looking to appoint a Land Manager to support the continued growth of its German development portfolio. This role will focus on identifying and securing greenfield sites for onshore wind and solar projects across Germany. Working closely with the Country Manager and Business Development team, you will play a key role in expanding the company's project pipeline through direct engagement with landowners, farmers, municipalities and other stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in land acquisition, sales, real estate, infrastructure or renewable energy development who enjoys building relationships and negotiating agreements.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify and secure suitable greenfield sites for renewable energy projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, farmers, municipalities and local stakeholders
  • Lead negotiations for land lease and land-use agreements
  • Conduct site visits and support project origination activities across Germany
  • Work closely with internal development, permitting and engineering teams
  • Represent the company at public meetings, information events and stakeholder consultations
  • Maintain accurate records of negotiations and project opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in land acquisition, business development, sales, real estate or renewable energy development
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable engaging with farmers, landowners and municipal stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout Germany
  • Valid driving licence.
