Job Responsibility:
Lead the Land Charges Team to provide an efficient, reliable, and prompt local land charges service in line with statutory functions and the Council’s objectives
Provide appropriate performance and financial reporting to the Assistant Director: Planning
Keep up to date with changes in legislation, policies and procedures and respond to these changes in a positive manner
Embedding a new IT system in the operation of the section and developing appropriate procedures around it
Preparing for the migration of Local Land Charges data to the national register and shaping the future of the service after migration
Requirements:
Organised and confident leader with strong management skills
Ability to motivate a team to deliver a high-quality, reliable service
