We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Land Charges Team Leader to lead our dedicated team and help shape the future of our service. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the Land Charges Team to provide an efficient, reliable, and prompt local land charges service in line with statutory functions and the Council’s objectives
  • Provide appropriate performance and financial reporting to the Assistant Director: Planning
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation, policies and procedures and respond to these changes in a positive manner
  • Embedding a new IT system in the operation of the section and developing appropriate procedures around it
  • Preparing for the migration of Local Land Charges data to the national register and shaping the future of the service after migration
