Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resorts Lāna’i is looking for a Lana’i Cultural Experience Guide & UTV who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams’ have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. The Lana’i Cultural Experience Guide & UTV is responsible for Cultural Holoholo and UTV Tours, leading guests on engaging and informative tours through scenic and cultural locations on the island. The guide will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for all participants by combining off-road adventure with insights into Hawaiian history, culture, and the natural environment.

Requirements:

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Weekend and Holiday availability required
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years old to drive the UTV
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and public speaking abilities for providing engaging commentary and clear instructions
  • Cultural Connection: A strong connection to Lanai and a deep understanding of its traditions and practices
  • Safety Awareness: Ability to follow safety protocols and enforce regulations effectively
  • Customer Service: Experience in hospitality or tourism-related fields, focusing on guest satisfaction
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to operate a UTV for extended periods in varying terrain and weather conditions
  • Experience: Previous experience as a tour guide, especially in outdoor recreation or with off-road vehicles
