Job Responsibility:

  • Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to assist the breastfeeding mother to attain her personal goals
  • Function as a member of the multi-discplinary health care team as a consultant, educator, and mentor to nurses, healthcare professionals and patients

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree - Nursing
  • 1-2 years Inpatient Breastfeeding Teaching Experience
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
