Job Description:

Are you an active and reliable individual looking for consistent work in the East Riding? We are currently seeking a general labourer to join a busy team on a high-volume new build housing development in Hessle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plot Preparation: Keeping plots and work areas clear of debris
  • Trade Support: Assisting skilled tradespeople (bricklayers, joiners, etc.) with material handling and setup
  • Site Housekeeping: Managing waste disposal, sweeping plots, and maintaining high site standards
  • Logistics: Unloading deliveries and safely distributing materials across the site
  • Safety: Strictly adhering to site Health & Safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Previous experience on a construction site (preferably new build residential)
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Capability for manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, high-vis, and steel-toe boots)
