CivilandScape has recently created an opening for an experienced general labourer who has worked in the landscape and civil space or similar. The successful candidate will be working around Sydney’s inner city and outer suburbs providing services to a divers range of projects from high end residential to high-rise city centre commercial projects. CivilandScape are looking for a knowledgeable, well presented and diligent applicant to immediately join our team.

Job Responsibility:

Generally assisting foreman, tradesman and other colleagues with day-to-day tasks
Clean work areas from debris and other construction materials
Construct walkways and patios, walls, fences, decks, posts, etc
Dig ditches or trenches and perform land clearing activities
Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape
Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, Lubricating and cleaning machines and tools on a daily basis
Operate various tools including: chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement Equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc

Requirements:

3 years’ experience minimum
Have a sound understanding of WHSE and operate in line with NSW WHSE practices
Current White Card NSW
