Pay Rate $18.00 Laborers are required to perform an Area Inspection of the area of the plant they are covering and turn in the signed and completed area inspection upon completion of their shift. Laborers must be able to walk, climb stairs and ladders, shovel, sweep, operate wheelbarrows and communicate with other employees via radios. Additional general tasks for Laborers include but are not limited to inspecting belt lines, rollers, water and oil flows and levels, bearings, motors, drive belts and chains, hoppers and chutes, ducts, mechanical linkages, inspecting fire extinguishers and safety equipment, etc. Description of general duties for ICC Laborers: Sweep, shovel and do general cleanup of areas as needed. Paint, pull weeds, sweep If trained, fill in on various jobs in other departments. Occasionally manual carry parts inventory or other materials.
