Job Description

As our laborer, you will engage in various tasks that support the project team in meeting daily production needs while holding safety to the highest standard. We'll rely on you to perform construction activities related to site cleanliness and assist other trade team members.

Job Responsibility

  • Efficiently clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, obstacles, and hazardous materials, maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Safely handle and transport materials and equipment to and from work areas, providing timely support to skilled workers as needed
  • Assist in various construction tasks such as digging trenches, demolishing structures, and preparing surfaces for concrete, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, wearing appropriate PPE, and actively contributing to a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues

Requirements

  • General knowledge of commercial construction and/or the drive to learn
  • Flexibility in your work schedule
  • Passion about learning and growing your skillset
  • High-quality approach and will make safety a priority in your daily work routine
  • Ability to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, climb stairs, walk on uneven ground, work above ground on scaffolds, have depth of perception to avoid excavations and other hazards, hear well enough to recognize the sounds of horns and sirens on moving equipment and have good finger manipulation
  • Constant lifting of 10 lbs., frequent lifting of 25 lbs. and maximum single person lifting of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb on light or heavy equipment, carry and use hand tools
  • Standing up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift
  • Ability to work in outside temperatures from 25 - 115 degrees
