Gubra is looking for a Laboratory Technician (Laborant) to support our analytical LC-MS platform working with in-house drug discovery projects in bioanalysis and peptide characterization. You will join the DMPK and bioanalysis team. We are currently four scientists and two laboratory technicians. We work in a welcoming environment built on trust, helpfulness, and a shared desire to break new ground. We work with generating data to support our Drug Discovery projects related to DMPK and bioanalysis to secure selection of the best peptide candidate for drug development. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the team. You will work closely together with scientists and fellow laboratory technicians. You have a strong background in high resolution mass spectrometry, and LC-HR-MS analysis of peptides. You have hands-on experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of LC-HR-MS equipment. You are self-motivated, willing to learn new things, and can navigate and collaborate in an energetic and dynamic organization. You take ownership for delivering high quality data, are organized and thrive both independently and in a dynamic team. As a Laboratory Technician in our DMPK and bioanalysis group, you will support our hypothesis-driven approach to advancing science in a strong collaborative environment delivering consistently high quality data.
Job Responsibility:
Working with and maintenance of several ESI-LC-MS(MS) instruments (e.g. Thermo Exploris120, Sciex 6500+, Thermo Altis, Vanquish Tandem UPLC etc.)
Specific focus on maintenance and operation of high-resolution MS equipment
Characterization and analysis of peptides by LC-HR-MS
In vitro assays to assess peptide stability in various matrices
Smart-lab: working with our computational biologists and other lab technicians and scientists in- and outside your group to locate repetitive work processes that can be optimized or automated
Development of new ESI-UPLC-MS(MS) methods
Data processing and documentation
Requirements:
You hold a certified laboratory technician diploma or similar
You have solid work experience and good technical knowledge with ESI-LC-MS and UPLC instrumentation
You have experience with LC-MS data analysis and automation
You are committed to high quality data handling and reporting of data
You have a genuine interest in peptide (bio)analyses
You have good communication skills in both Danish and English
