If an exciting and versatile everyday life, a solid education and a safe environment mean something to you, then please send your application to us. If you are ready for an internship in February 2027, then you can be an important part of a dynamic team consisting of researchers and laboratory technicians operating advanced imaging equipment. Together, we carry out the tasks related to studies for our partners. Minerva Imaging is at the forefront of R&D in the theragnostic area advancing new, improved and lifesaving drugs for cancer patients. We specialize in research into cancer and cardiovascular diseases. We have both a small animal unit with mice and rats as well as a large animal unit with pigs, dogs and rabbits. We have a culture of care, which ensures our commitment to continuously improve the conditions for the laboratory animals in our care - in addition to legal requirements. The studies we carry out may aim to investigate the distribution of radioactive substances in the body after administration and the effect of the substances on different types of cancer. For our studies, we often use advanced imaging techniques. We are looking for a laboratory technician intern for our dynamic imaging team. The imaging team operates as a central core function across small and large animal pharmacology departments supporting studies using various advanced imaging modalities. As a laboratory technician intern, you will play a big role in our efforts to become 'Imaging Centric' - the preferred partner for global pharma and biotech companies for translational imaging studies. About the position: As a laboratory technician intern at Minerva Imaging, you will be a member of our imaging department dedicated to accelerating translational drug development programs with molecular imaging. The position is in a dynamic and exciting team of dedicated technicians and scientists collaborating closely in the team as well as across departments on timely conducting of imaging studies delivering high-quality data. You will work with cutting-edge molecular imaging equipment like PET/SPECT/CT, MRI, ultrasound, and autoradiography in our new state-of-the-art facility where we continuously expand our capabilities. Collaboration is one of the cornerstones of our values, so you will also find that you will never be completely alone with tasks. There is always help and sparring to be had from an experienced laboratory technician or your supervisor. You will be part of an experienced team, and your role will, among other things, include: Operating preclinical and clinical imaging modalities (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, MRI, ultrasound, bioluminescence and autoradiography) – e.g. preparing animals and performing scans; Quality assurance of imaging equipment and procedures; Analyzing and reporting of image data together with laboratory technicians and imaging scientists – e.g. identifying and segmenting organs in imaging software; Participate in interdisciplinary projects and activities across departments in the organization. Qualifications: To be considered for the position, we would like you to be able to say yes to the following: You have completed the theoretical part (first three semesters) of the laboratory technician education; You are a team player with a positive attitude towards learning new things; You are thorough and thrive in detail-oriented work; You thrive in a fast-paced and service-oriented work environment; You are not afraid to work with radioactive* substances; You are not afraid to work with animals*; Our business language is English, so we expect you to speak and write English; You have the ability to work flexibly across projects and adapt to new priorities in a fast-paced environment. *About radioactivity at Minerva Imaging: We have guidelines in place that follow the legislation in the area. We work with small quantities and under controlled conditions, so you can feel safe in your work. *We expect you to participate at the mandatory FELASA course which we will offer. Minerva offers: We believe in creating an agile working environment, so we have flexible working options including the option of working from home. We care about our employees' well-being and offer health insurance and a quality conscious lunch scheme and monthly social activities. We are an informal organization with a strong focus on open and honest communication. We value humour and a natural care for one another. Application: Send your application to us no later than July 6, 2026. Your enquiry must include a motivational essay, a CV with your qualifications, and your grade summary from the Laboratory Technician School. We accept applications in Danish or English. We continuously look at applications and hire when the right candidate has been found. If you have previously applied in our unsolicited pool, we recommend that you send your application again and confirm that you are still interested in the position as an intern with us. If you have any questions about the position, you can contact Kristian Mayntz Kierulff at KMK@minervaimaging.com. Please write 'Laboratory Technician Trainee' or 'Laborantpraktikant' in the subject line. About Minerva Imaging: Minerva Imaging is a scientifically driven and integrated CRO and CDMO specialized in targeted radionuclide therapies. We focus on the use of advanced animal models within oncology, cardiovascular diseases, and in vivo molecular imaging for translational research and drug development. We engage with our sponsors to understand their scientific questions and discuss how our methods and capabilities can provide answers.
