Currently enrolled in a Food Science, chemistry, or related field program
Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles
Familiarity with basic laboratory instruments as well as physical and chemical testing and analysis
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines

Job Responsibility

Conduct wheat and flour testing and analysis, ensuring raw material and finished goods quality and food safety are within the predetermined product specifications
Complete and issue customers’ documents such as Certificate of Analysis, Product Specifications and other inquiries
Assist in the maintenance of Quality program and manual which includes but not limited to periodic review and inspections, updating documents, filing and organizing, corrective and preventive action reporting
Maintain documents and records in accordance with P&H policies and procedures
Report and communicate with Department Supervisors/Managers on matters regarding the results of quality testing and analysis
Participate in Food Safety programs, including maintenance of the Supplier Approval program
Participate and assist with traceability, mock recalls exercise, audits, customer complaints and inquiries
Support and participate in third party, customer and regulatory audits
