Performs complex laboratory assignments, planning and conducting a complete project of limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project.

Job Responsibility

  • Performs complex laboratory assignments, planning and conducting a complete project of limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project
  • Plans and conducts technical procedures, non-routine and complex in nature
  • Sets up and operates sophisticated equipment or instrumentation
  • Constructs major units of equipment
  • Records, computes and analyzes test data
  • Prepares test reports and makes recommendations
  • May review, analyze and integrate technical work of others
  • Assists in psychology, sociology or education studies and experiments involving human/animal subjects
  • Prepares computer programs, schematics, specifications, designs, charts, graphs, tables, illustrations, photographs
  • May assist in preparation of materials for publication
  • May perform specialized duties in process or service laboratories, such as photography/illustration services

Requirements

Associate's degree in appropriate discipline plus 4-5 years specialized experience in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
