This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a clinical laboratory environment, gaining hands-on experience while supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, working at the heart of our laboratory services. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), with participation in weekend and rota-based activities as required by the service. Job Responsibility
Diagnostic semen analysis in line with relevant standards
Sperm preparation, freezing and thawing procedures
Supporting oocyte collection and embryo transfer procedures
Preparing laboratory equipment, media, gradients and culture dishes
Maintaining accurate records, including treatment documentation and cryostorage data
Assisting with equipment monitoring, stock control and laboratory audits
Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
Work with clinical databases and digital systems to ensure accurate data entry and tracking
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and other units
Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and compliant laboratory environment
Requirements
GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and databases)
Experience in data entry or administrative work
Experienced in an administrative or clinical support role
Nice to have
Experience in a healthcare or laboratory environment
Knowledge of patient records or quality/audit processes
