The Laboratory Calibration Engineer (LCE) is responsible for ensuring accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement of measurement systems used across the organization. This role defines calibration requirements, prepares and maintains reference standards, applies national and international standards, and provides engineering analysis to support compliance and operational readiness.
Job Responsibility:
Determine calibration requirements, equipment specifications, measurements, and methods
Prepare reference standards used in performing calibration
Apply knowledge of national and international standards
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure accuracy and functionality of all reference standards
Develop and implement measurement process improvements using statistical methods and proficiency studies
Provide engineering analysis and guidance for calibration issues
Stop work or withhold non‑conforming equipment or certificates when necessary
Serve as an authorized signatory of calibration certificates
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical program
English Proficiency
3 years of experience in: Calibration processes and measurement science (Metrology)
Developing calibration process improvements
ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards
Nice to have:
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17043 is an advantage
Knowledge of programming (Python, VBA, or similar)
