Job Description

As a Laboratory Analyst at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, your primary responsibility will be to conduct daily laboratory testing and operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness to meet product quality specifications. This includes maintaining properly calibrated and serviced lab equipment to uphold high standards of precision. You will also be involved in sample analysis for trials, research, and development projects as required. Additionally, your role will include maintaining and updating quality procedures and laboratory documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct daily laboratory testing and operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness to meet product quality specifications
  • Maintain properly calibrated and serviced lab equipment
  • Participate in sample analysis for trials, research, and development projects as required
  • Maintain and update quality procedures and laboratory documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of quality testing for bioethanol products
  • Conduct regular verification checks and maintenance on instruments and equipment
  • Analyse test results, interpret findings, and provide clear, actionable insights to support production quality improvements
  • Consistently meet or exceed quality targets

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and other organisational tools
