Job Responsibility

Support daily operations, procurement, inventory, and compliance at the Kansas Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
Collaborate across teams to improve processes and advance veterinary diagnostics and public health
Help drive the daily operational support of KVDL while serving as a key partner to the KVDL Director and laboratory leadership
Coordinate laboratory operational activities
Support regulatory reporting and compliance efforts
Serve as a central point of communication between laboratory sections and external partners
Help ensure the laboratory operates efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with university, state, and federal requirements
Contribute to impactful initiatives involving laboratory programs, training, process improvement, quality management systems, audits, and biosafety
Collaborate across KVDL sections to support laboratory workflows
