Job Description

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory Administrator to join our client's team in Brentwood. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful temporary period.

Job Responsibility

  • Accurate data entry into the Information Management System
  • Scanning and uploading documents
  • General lab maintenance: washing glassware, managing sample inventory, tidying lab surfaces, monitoring equipment temperatures
  • Basic sample testing (minimal handling)
  • Filing of paperwork and samples
  • Receiving samples from suppliers
  • Preparing and mixing essential oil and fragrance samples for dispatch
  • Testing fragrance flashpoints using lab apparatus

Requirements

  • Proactive and detail-oriented
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Experience in lab maintenance
  • Basic sample testing skills
