Job Description

Robert Half Legal is partnering with an established and respected commercial litigation firm in their search for a Labor and Employment Attorney. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for attorneys with proven litigation experience and a strong background in labor and employment law.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft and respond to motions, including preparing persuasive legal arguments
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research related to a variety of employment and labor disputes
  • Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, reviewing documents, and preparing for depositions
  • Advise clients on employment law matters, compliance issues, and best practices
  • Support case strategy development and participate in all stages of litigation as needed
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active and good standing membership with the California Bar (must be CA-barred)
  • 3+ years’ experience practicing labor and employment law, with commercial litigation exposure preferred
  • Demonstrated experience drafting motions, conducting legal research, and managing discovery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a remote setting and manage a dynamic caseload
