Job Description:

Airswift is seeking a motivated and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team on a rotational shift basis. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and late evenings, to ensure seamless laboratory operations. Candidates with 10+ years of relevant laboratory experience will be considered in lieu of a degree, though a degree in a scientific field is preferred.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols
  • Prepare and analyze samples, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Document all processes, results, and observations in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills

Requirements:

  • Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline OR 10+ years of equivalent laboratory experience
  • Previous laboratory experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
