The position is home based anywhere on the West Coast with regular travel (60%-80%) to customer sites across the West Coast of the USA. The company is a leading global service provider for laboratory instruments. The instruments they work on include Bioprocess, Centrifuges, LC-MS, Microplate readers, Incubators and more.
Job Responsibility:
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on laboratory instruments
Refurbishment of instruments
Effectively communicate with customers before going on site and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs
Serve as a member of the customer account team by contributing your technical expertise to resolve customer questions, troubleshoot customer issues, and identify additional opportunities to serve our customers
Requirements:
3 years of Field Service experience is required
Valid Drivers licence
Fluent English is essential
Ability to work independently and comfortable with travel
