Job Description:

The position is home based anywhere on the West Coast with regular travel (60%-80%) to customer sites across the West Coast of the USA. The company is a leading global service provider for laboratory instruments. The instruments they work on include Bioprocess, Centrifuges, LC-MS, Microplate readers, Incubators and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on laboratory instruments
  • Refurbishment of instruments
  • Effectively communicate with customers before going on site and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs
  • Serve as a member of the customer account team by contributing your technical expertise to resolve customer questions, troubleshoot customer issues, and identify additional opportunities to serve our customers

Requirements:

  • 3 years of Field Service experience is required
  • Valid Drivers licence
  • Fluent English is essential
  • Ability to work independently and comfortable with travel
