Job Description:

Technical Sales Executive – Laboratory Equipment. Our client is a provider of laboratory equipment who sell their products into a wide range of customers, partnering with some of the biggest names in the industry. Priding themselves on a top-class customer service and high-quality industry-leading products, they are now looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join the team and look after customers in the UK.

Job Responsibility:

  • Looking after existing customers, growing the accounts and nurturing business for the company
  • Seeking out new business opportunities
  • Meeting with customers across the UK to explore new ventures and ensure service levels are upkept
  • Accurate record keeping and data logging using company CRM
  • Provide business proposals, quotations, and pricing for products, as required
  • Reporting sales figures to senior leadership team
  • Keep up to date with industry and product knowledge

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in scientific subject, ideally chemistry/biochemistry
  • Hold a Full UK driving licence and be open to travel across the UK
  • Have experience working with analytical equipment such as chromatography and mass spectroscopy
  • Ideally have 1-2+ years of sales experience ideally within the scientific sector
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively
  • Possess technical knowledge of laboratory products and equipment
  • Be able to present to a variety of audience and influence decision makers
  • Be motivated, hardworking and ambitious
  • Be highly organised and able to manage workload
  • Have experience working with a CRM or information systems
