Proclinical is seeking a Lab Associate to join a dynamic team focusing on Cellular Functional & Soluble Biomarkers. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and implementing biomarker assays to support clinical trials. This position requires a proactive approach to assay development, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to delivering high-quality data.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and transfer biomarker assays for clinical trial support
Lead in-house assay development and oversee method transfers to external CRO partners
Plan, troubleshoot, and critically analyze results of analytical methods for cellular and protein biomarkers
Execute experimental protocols, analyze data, and deliver comprehensive reports aligned with project timelines
Ensure compliance with regulatory and GxP requirements throughout the assay lifecycle
Introduce and evaluate novel technologies to enhance biomarker strategies
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure data integrity and resolve technical challenges
Present findings and updates in internal and external meetings
Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline
Proven experience in biomarker assay development within a regulated environment
Proficiency in biomarker assay technologies, including: Cellular and functional assays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISpot, HTRF)
Ligand-binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Simoa)
Hands-on experience in technology implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of GxP principles
Experience supporting pharmacodynamic biomarker assay development for preclinical or clinical applications
Demonstrated scientific credibility through publications or presentations
A proactive team player with a growth mindset and a focus on collaboration and continuous learning
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and agile environment
