Job Description

As our Laboratory Assistant, under the direction of the Market Director of Laboratory Services and Laboratory Manager, you will assist in specimen collection, receiving, processing, and distribution of specimens. Every day, you will perform clerical duties, receptionist duties, process specimens for Reference laboratory sendouts, perform initial plating of specimens in Microbiology, and monitor tube stations and distribution of samples. This involves meticulous attention to detail, adherence to strict protocols, and efficient handling of a high volume of samples to ensure the accurate and timely flow of laboratory diagnostic information.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AHA BLS within 90 days
