Job Description

This is a senior leadership role within a modern and forward-thinking law firm specialising in the defence of serious and complex criminal cases. The role involves managing a high-performing legal team, handling serious crime cases, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and delivering strong advocacy.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise a team of skilled Crime Duty Solicitors
  • Manage a complex and serious caseload from police station through to trial
  • Ensure compliance with the 2017 Standard Crime Contract
  • Attend police stations and courts regularly
  • Deliver robust case preparation and powerful advocacy

Requirements

  • LAA Crime Category Supervisor status (Essential)
  • Previous experience supervising and managing legal teams
  • Strong leadership, case strategy, and communication skills
  • Resilience and commitment to defending clients with diligence and passion
