Job Description

L3 Network Engineer role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise providing expert-level support for complex network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems, and working on end-to-end solutions for enterprise campus and data center networks.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide expert-level support for complex network issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems promptly
  • Perform initial diagnosis and basic troubleshooting of port connectivity issues, link flaps, device status
  • Coordinate with vendors or OEM TAC for RMA or known issue identification
  • Support routine tasks such as patch management, backups, and firmware checks
  • Assist in maintaining physical network infrastructure
  • Stay updated on Aruba OS-CX CLI basics
  • Lead resolution activities with escalated customers
  • Help in root cause analysis of defects/issues and facilitate product release/roll-out
  • Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve problems

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the Networking (Routing and switching) across multivendor solutions
  • Industry Experience 5-8 years in managing the aspects of remote delivery in the professional services delivery
  • In-depth knowledge of Aruba Network switches, features, and functionalities
  • Strong understanding of LAN and WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, routing and security
  • Hands-on experience with Aruba Central, Security Service Edge (SSE), and ClearPass
  • Experience in troubleshooting in a technical environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Software and hardware knowledge of Vmware, computing and storage
  • Well recognized industry certification beneficial, ACMX, CCNP, Firewall preferred
  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience delivering Professional services in the IT infrastructure domain
  • Ability to mentor new agents and contribute to technical action plans
