Job Description

Core Responsibilities: Act as final escalation point for complex IT and satellite communication issues; Troubleshoot advanced firewall, routing, WAN, and onboard IT infrastructure incidents; Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions; Ensure high availability and minimal downtime for global vessel operations; Support and optimize VSAT, Starlink, OneWeb, and LTE communication systems; Configure and manage WAN failover, traffic prioritization, and bandwidth optimization; Administer firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco, Mikrotik, HP Aruba); Implement VLANs, VPNs, QoS policies, routing protocols, and security configurations; Manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and DFS; Support Hyper-V / VMware / Proxmox virtualization platforms; Oversee RMM tools, endpoint security platforms, patch management, and backups; Maintain SLA compliance, technical documentation, and NOC process governance; Mentor L1/L2 engineers and support vessel IT deployment projects
