Ready to drive the digital transition of a leading financial institution? Our Partner: For one of our clients, a prestigious financial institution based in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, we are actively seeking a KYC On-boarding Officer. Integrated into a stimulating, international environment, you will play a key role in the operational stabilization and adoption phase following the deployment of a brand-new core system (OMEGA).

Job Responsibility

  • Execute counterparty onboarding activities exclusively via the new OMEGA system
  • Perform new First Line of Defence tasks and structured four-eyes checks
  • Process, analyze, and follow up on additional screening hits generated by integrity screening tools
  • Assist Investment Managers and Counterparty Responsible Officers with the practical use of the new tool
  • Clarify system workflows and required inputs
  • Contribute to clearing implementation-related backlogs during the transition period
  • Escalate system constraints to the Project Team.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in an AML/KYC role within the banking or financial sector
  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Law, Finance, Business, or Economics
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Previous experience with compliance databases such as LSEG Refinitiv WorldCheck, Dow Jones, or eFront software is a major asset.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of any other EU language
  • Previous experience with compliance databases such as LSEG Refinitiv WorldCheck, Dow Jones, or eFront software.

  • Conduct research by utilizing all available internal/external sources and assess any high-risk factors that would trigger enhanced due diligence
  • Liaise with the business or operations where necessary in order to provide the client with a clear understanding of firm and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with various other departments as necessary regarding client on-boarding or on-going due diligence. Ensure completion of files within targeted SLAs. Coordinate with relevant process owners of each of the stages of KYC, including Financial Crimes Management Team (e.g. MLROs) for any exceptions and or/ extensions
  • Ensure that all relevant KYC/AML information is adequately recorded, especially information relating to source of funds / source of wealth and expected account activity, for risk management purposes
  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance of client information and documentation
