Job Description

The KYC Onboarding Analyst will collaborate closely with the KYC Team Lead, Director of Compliance and relevant stakeholders. This role includes executing the company's strategy in alignment with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks. The primary objective is to perform customer due diligence, implement Payhawk’s KYB/KYC protocols, evaluate documents and data submitted for corporate customer applications, detect fraudulent activities through client screening and monitoring, and address any additional requests as needed.

Job Responsibility

  • Review corporate client applications and perform due diligence of B2B customers from all markets
  • Monitor and evaluate customer verification documents
  • Support the due diligence process - initial and ongoing
  • Ensure complete and appropriate documentation is maintained
  • PEP, Sanctions and adverse media screening of applicants, companies and their representatives
  • Report to MLRO any information related to potentially fraudulent activity
  • Review internal and external screening alerts and escalations for suspicious or fraudulent activity
  • Perform data review and analysis, as well as maintenance of all internal procedures and processes automation related to customer due diligence processes
  • Maintain a complete understanding of operational business processes, policies, and systems

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of work experience as an AML/Onboarding Analyst
  • Expertise in complex corporate structures analysis and international corporate documentation review
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Ownership and entrepreneurship, positive attitude, energy, openness to feedback, comfortable with a fast-changing environment
  • A great initiative taker, ability to initiate projects through ideas that have a high business contribution
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or any related field
