KYC/AML Specialist

• Perform thorough client vetting and background checks to align with AML/KYC regulations and organizational standards
• Oversee and streamline the complete client onboarding and due diligence process
• Engage proactively with internal teams and external partners to collect and verify required KYC documentation, ensuring adherence to all regulatory obligations
• Enforce AML/KYC protocols and seek approvals for any exceptions to established guidelines
• Deliver exceptional responses to client inquiries, maintaining compliance with rigorous AML/KYC and regulatory expectations
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure prompt completion of due diligence reviews
• Stay vigilant for operational and compliance risks, promptly reporting significant concerns to leadership
• Drive enhancements in processes, offering insights and assistance to colleagues on compliance procedures
• Assist with regulatory AML filings, internal evaluations, and special projects as needed

• Maximum of 5 years’ experience in AML/ATF roles across any region
• Demonstrated expertise in APAC and Canadian AML/KYC regulations and frameworks
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management abilities
• Exceptional precision and meticulousness in task execution
• Self-driven with the ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proficient in English
• proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is advantageous
