Job Description

Role: Kubernetes Engineer. Location: Plano, TX (ONSITE). FULL TIME ONLY.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with hybrid Infra architectures – Strong hands-on experience using AWS Services and Kubernetes engineering and development
  • Onboarding applications to Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP)
  • Understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Jenkins/Github Actions
  • Understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
  • Work with engineering teams to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/teams (architecture and infrastructure delivery teams) to ensure consistent solution design and integration
  • Hands on experience with GitHub Actions, Artifactory/jfrog, python scripting, EKS
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on platform experience of Kubernetes engineering and development
  • 5+ years of experience in working with hybrid Infra architectures
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Hands on experience with IaaC such as Terraform
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Jenkins/Github Actions
  • Understanding of the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders/teams (architecture and infrastructure delivery teams) to ensure consistent solution design and integration
  • Hands on experience with GitHub Actions, Artifactory/jfrog, python scripting, EKS
  • Required Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Nutanix environment
