We are looking for dedicated KS3 Teaching Assistants to support students across North Wales. This is a brilliant opportunity to help pupils aged 11-14 build a strong academic foundation as they start their secondary school journey.
Job Responsibility:
Helping Year 7 students transition smoothly from primary to secondary school
Explaining lesson instructions clearly to ensure all students can complete their work
Leading small group "catch-up" sessions for literacy and numeracy support
Supporting the classroom teacher with behaviour management and student engagement
Working 1-on-1 with students who require extra patience and guidance
Assisting with the preparation of creative classroom resources and displays
Acting as a positive role model to help students build their confidence and social skills
Requirements:
A patient, adaptable, and energetic approach to working with young people
Good levels of literacy and numeracy to support the KS3 curriculum
The ability to travel to schools within the North Wales region
Reliability and a commitment to providing consistent support for students
An enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to complete one with us)
