Job Description

Darul Uloom London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS3 Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality science education to Key Stage 3 students, while contributing to the holistic development of learners who are on the path to becoming future scholars and Huffaz.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the KS3 curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies
  • Support students’ academic growth alongside their moral and spiritual development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental planning and meetings

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Science or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
  • Experience teaching KS3 students
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science education
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to the ethos and values of Darul Uloom London

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working in an Islamic educational setting
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students toward academic excellence
