Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic key stage 2 teacher looking for a new challenge? Are you able to demonstrate the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of pupils? Do you have a wealth of experience in teaching KS2 curriculum? If this sounds like you, then you're in luck as we're recruiting experienced KS2 Primary Teachers for a mainstream Primary School in Manchester. This exciting opportunity would include lesson planning, building relationships with students in your class and creating inviting topics to engage learning. You will be dedicated to providing a safe and happy classroom, where children are supported to achieve to the best of their ability. This is a Long Term role

Job Responsibility

  • Setting, marking and giving feedback on work/homework
  • Safeguarding all children
  • Planning engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Supporting and guiding Teaching Assistants
  • Attending staff meetings and liaising with colleagues

Requirements

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • QTS and a degree qualification in teaching (PGCE)
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Being passionate about teaching and learning
  • Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No Sponsorships Provided)
