Job Description:

KS2 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Watford and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging, high‑quality learning experiences across Key Stage 2.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum using provided plans
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
Assess and record pupil progress when required
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to whole‑school life during longer‑term placements

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
Adaptable across year groups and different school environments
Positive, organised, and committed to high‑quality teaching
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
