Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver high-quality, challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum (Years 3-6)
Prepare pupils for statutory assessments (SATs) while maintaining a focus on their emotional wellbeing
Create an inclusive learning environment that caters to a wide range of abilities and EAL (English as an Additional Language) needs
Implement effective classroom management strategies that foster mutual respect
Use data-driven insights to identify learning gaps and provide targeted interventions
Lead classroom support staff to ensure every child receives the help they need
Engage with the local Blackburn community through parents' evenings and school events
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong subject knowledge across core and foundation subjects
Ability to use "Assessment for Learning" to drive student outcomes
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
