Job Description

Affinity Partnerships are working in collaboration with well-established multi academy trusts that are seeking KS2 teachers in Bristol and surrounding areas(Bridgwater,Cevedon,Taunton,Bath,Keynsham,etc…) for a Septemeber start. This role has the potential to become a permanent role following temporary appointment.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide well-planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Liaise with parents regarding pupils progress and well-being
  • Work with Teaching Assistants to support less able pupils to achieve better outcomes
  • Assist in the development of the Curriculum
  • Be responsible for monitoring, assessing, reporting, recording and evaluation of learning experiences
  • Promote opportunities for peer and social interaction to develop confidence, resilience and social skills
  • Plan, organise, mark work whilst also attending staff planning meetings

Requirements

  • QTS or QTLS status in the UK
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to put one in process
  • Ability to provide references for the last two years
