Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and forward‑thinking primary school in Nelson, starting ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching across Key Stage 2. The school is well known for its inclusive values, strong leadership team and commitment to providing a positive, engaging learning environment for all pupils.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a cohesive KS2 team
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching within a KS2 setting
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Two education or school-based references
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
