Ks2 teacher

• Plan, deliver and assess effective lessons in line with the English National Curriculum for KS2
• Support and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL pupils
• Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages independence, confidence and curiosity
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to year-group planning and whole-school initiatives
• Promote strong safeguarding practices and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct
• Participate in enrichment activities and broader school life
• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Successful experience teaching in KS2 with evidence of strong impact on pupil outcomes
• A child-centred, creative approach rooted in Quality First Teaching
• Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum planning, delivery and assessment
• Fluency in English with excellent spoken, written and technical communication skills
• The ability to adapt teaching to support pupils whose first language is not English
• A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team and school life
• A commitment to pastoral care and to supporting the holistic development of every child
• A reflective mindset with enthusiasm for ongoing professional learning
• High professional standards and dedication to safeguarding
• Excitement about contributing to a school rated “outstanding in all areas” under the BSO framework
