Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Plan, prepare, and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Use effective behaviour management strategies aligned with school policies
Assess and record pupil progress in line with school expectations
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, mentors, and colleagues
Contribute positively to wider school life during the long-term placement
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to qualify as an ECT by September 2026
Early Career Teacher seeking long-term supply experience in Key Stage 2
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Confident, reflective, and eager to develop classroom practice
Good organisation and time-management skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
