Job Description

Justteachers is currently recruiting for a passionate and resilient KS2 Teacher to join a small one form entry primary school in Key Stage 2 teaching pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. This full-time position is based in a mainstream Primary school in Bury and is to concentrate on a class that has additional needs. This will begin immediately, continuing until the end of the academic year.

Job Responsibility

Deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH challenges
Create a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued and heard
Monitor and report on pupil progress, adjusting strategies as needed to support both learning and emotional development
Promote a trauma-informed and restorative approach to behaviour management

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with SEMH learners or in an alternative provision setting
Two education-based references
Legal right to work in the UK
