Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Blackley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and fostering a love of learning in every child. The role is to start at May half term or sooner for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver well‑structured, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback and use data to inform planning
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Promote positive behaviour and uphold high expectations for learning and conduct
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, clubs or curriculum development
Follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise the wellbeing of every child

Requirements:

A positive, professional and child‑centred approach
QTS with KS2 experience
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Excellent communication, organisation and behaviour‑management skills
A reflective practitioner with a commitment to continuous improvement
Two education‑based references or similar settings
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
