Job Description:

We are on the lookout for an experienced KS2 teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Southam. The role is a full time role, starting after February half term with short listing currently taking place. OFSTED states that this primary school continues to be a good school. Pupils enjoy learning in this happy and welcoming school. They feel safe and the staff care for the pupils well. The school offer many different opportunities for pupils to thrive off and in return expect pupils to behave well around school and look out for each other. The curriculum is well planned and executed to make sure all pupils get the most out of the lessons and learn skills and knowledge that will benefit them in their future chosen career path.

Job Responsibility:

  • planning, marking and executing lessons
  • working closely with other KS2 teachers
  • keeping students engaged in lessons
  • create meaningful and professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents
  • Ensuring safe guarding standards are met inside and outside the classroom

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • A minimum of two references ideally in an education or school-based reference
  • Proven experience in primary education
