A friendly and creative specialist school in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a teaching support assistant to support learning across KS1. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a team that is listened to, respected and valued. This is a long term and full time role available to start in September! Job Responsibility

  • Supporting KS1 learners on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis
  • Supporting SEN learners in KS1
  • Knowledge of various teaching methods
  • Ability to communicate with children and engage them with creative activities

Requirements

  • Be a resilient, committed and enthusiastic individual
  • Relevant teaching assistant or childcare experience (UK based)
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
  • 2 recent proven and professional references
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eligible to work in UK
