Job Description

An inviting and creative specialist school in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a teaching support assistant to support learning across KS1. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a team that is listened to, respected and valued. Pupils can play freely outside or choose a quiet space indoors, their individual needs and interests are echoed in their school experience. This is a long term and full time role available to start ASAP!

Job Responsibility

Supporting KS1 learners on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis
Supporting SEN learners in KS1
Knowledge of various teaching methods
Ability to communicate with children and engage them with creative activities

Requirements

Be a resilient, committed and enthusiastic individual
Relevant teaching assistant or childcare experience (UK based)
An enhanced DBS on the update service
Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
2 recent proven and professional references
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eligible to work in UK
