Are you looking for a stable, long-term full-time role? A fantastic Primary School located in Salford is looking for an individual who is committed, outgoing, and has knowledge or ideally experience working with Key Stage 1 children. As a Long-Term KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will build a strong routine with Year 1 and Year 2 pupils, providing crucial 1:1 and group support during a vital stage of their academic journey. Job Responsibility

  • Help to support children on a 1:1 and classroom-based level
  • Provide group support in and outside of the classroom
  • Delivering Phonics, Reading, Writing, and Spelling sessions
  • Working alongside a range of primary teachers
  • Long-Term - Full Time
  • Hours between 8:30 am and 15:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (ideally in KS1 / Phonics experience)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
  • Flexible
  • adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner.
