Job Responsibility:
Delivering engaging and imaginative lessons specifically tailored to Year 1 or Year 2
Fostering a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages early independence
Working closely with a job-share partner or class team to ensure continuity of learning
Assessing student progress and providing the feedback needed to help young learners flourish
Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding student development
Using your expertise in Phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc or Little Wandle) to boost literacy
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1)
An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available)
Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
A passionate, flexible, and reliable approach to part-time teaching
