Job Description

KS1 Teacher | Inspiring the First Big Steps (Year 1 & 2). Are you ready to build the foundation for a lifetime of learning? The early years of school are where the magic happens. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and patient KS1 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Tamworth. This is a full-time, temporary role for a professional who loves the "lightbulb moments" that come with teaching Year 1 and Year 2.

Job Responsibility

Plan & Deliver high-quality, play-infused lessons that meet the National Curriculum standards for KS1
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Use formative assessment to track early reading, writing, and maths progress
Work closely with parents and Teaching Assistants to support each child's unique learning journey

Requirements

QTS
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) welcome
experience delivering phonics programs (such as Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle)
